Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better popularly known as Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer hailing from Washington, D.C., who was the first female to be signed to J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. Her first EP, Pho which was released on 21 October 2016 was released by Dreamville Records. The singer began to earn recognition. Shea Butter Baby is her debut album. It came out in May of 2019. Ari Lennox began uploading her tracks to the internet in 2012, when she released her mixtape debut Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in the year 2013. Her uploads continued music online in 2014, including her self-released single Bound. On July 21 2015 she was featured on Omen's album Elephant Eyes featuring the track Sweat It Out. Later that year her music began to circulate around the Dreamville team, as J. Cole wanted her to collaborate with him on some potential references to Rihanna. The news was released on December 8th, that she'd been signed to Dre
